- 17th Annual Turkish Military Attaché Dinner took place on August 5, 2008 at the Army & Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia.
ATC honored the Army Attaché, Colonel Safak Gok, and the Naval Attaché, Captain Irfan Arabaci, both of whom successfully completed their three-year assignment in Washington and returned to Turkey.
Following dinner, ATC invitees heart speeches from the two departing attaches regarding their time in Washington. Almost 80 officials from Pentagon, Turkish Embassy, State Department, U.S. and Turkish Defense Companies attended the dinner.
